Thriving With Camp Fire
Thrive Leaders Program allows youth to explore career paths, collaborate with mentors from the community and connect with workforce professionals in the community. Camp Fire leaders along with adult mentors will help youth find their spark, understand growth mindset, manage goals and reflect on progress through a variety of group challenges and one on one time with mentors. This program will help youth develop soft skills, mindset, and goal management skills needed to be successful in school and future careers. This program is for 8th grade students.
Identify and grow Sparks and Spark Champions.
Adopt a growth mindset (the belief that you can learn new skills all the time).

Equipped with these skills, and with the support of trained, caring adults, Camp Fire participants are more likely to:
-Stay in school
-Achieve higher grades
-Demonstrate social competence
-Lead a healthy lifestyle
-Volunteer to help others
-Be environmentally conscious
-Have a sense of purpose
-Achieve their full potential
Every day, we see youth building positive relationships, learning life skills that include self-reflection and goal management, and practicing these skills in our in-school programs, out-of-school clubs, summer camps, and teen service/leadership programs. We also see youth develop indicators of thriving which include positive youth outcomes such as increased social skills (inclusiveness and empathy), life skills, conflict resolution, purpose, and confidence.
